Important Studio Policies 


  • Please arrive to class on time! All students must arrive on time for all scheduled classes. If a student is more than 15 minutes late, they will not be permitted into class. A late student is disruptive to the teacher and other students participating in class. Regular attendance is required. Excessive absences and tardiness can hold back the entire class. If you know you are going to be late or even miss a class, please call the studio to let your child’s instructor know.
  • No food, drinks or gum are permitted in the dance rooms. Bottled water is acceptable.
  • All students must maintain a pleasant and respectful attitude towards all teachers and other students.
  • Class Placement is strictly up to our trained faculty! We will make sure all students are properly placed in the correct levels.
  • Studio Newsletters are sent home with your bill every month. Reminders, updates and important information are in these newsletters, so please be sure to read them!
  • Please be sure to wash your child’s leotards after every class. It is very important to make sure they are clean for their next class.
  • We provide a positive environment for both parents and students. Negativity in the classroom and/or lobby will not be tolerated. The behavior displayed on the tv show- Dance Moms, will not be tolerated. If any negativity shall occur- the client will be asked to leave; regardless of paid fees. Please keep a positive attitude on APAC grounds at all times.

  • Registration, tuition and costume fees are non-refundable at all times! No exceptions!!
  • Tuition is always due by the 5th of each month, regardless of missed classes. If you know your child will not be attending class during tuition week, please make other arrangements to come in.
  • A $15.00 late fee will be added to all accounts overdue and not paid by the 5th. Refusal to pay the late fee can result in your child not taking class. No exceptions!
  • Tuition remains the same amount every month regardless of holidays, missed classes, or short months. No refunds or discounts will be given!
  • June tuition will remain the same, even with it being a short month; due to paying teachers for dress rehearsal, recital, and theatre rental for dress rehearsal.
  • FAMILY TUITION: Family tuition is for siblings ONLY. Extended family members can NOT be grouped together!
  • A returned check fee of $25.00 will be assessed for all returned checks.
  • Bills are sent out the week before tuition is due. If your child should miss class the week bills are handed out, tuition is still due by the 5th!
  • If you should decide to leave the studio, please inform us! If you do not, you will be billed accordingly, even if your child is not in class.
  • Private lessons need to be paid in cash to the instructor before the lesson begins.
  • All registration, tuition and costume fees must be paid up 2 weeks before recital, in order for your child to perform.
  • Legal actions will be taken for all accounts 60 days past due! Court costs are the responsibility of the billing contact. Please pay tuition on time!

Dance Attire:

  • Proper dance attire must be worn in each class. Hair must always be properly pulled back into a bun for all levels, or tight ponytail for other classes. Hair is never to be worn down. Also, all students must have proper dance shoes for the class they are scheduled for. School uniforms are not to be worn in class! No one will be permitted into class without proper attire, shoes, or hairstyle.

Dress Rehearsal and Recital:

  • All students planning on participating in our annual dance recital MUST ATTEND Dress Rehearsal in order to perform the night of our Recital. No exceptions will be made.
  • Parents, please make note there is no photography or videotaping permitted the night of the Recital. We will stop the performance! If you would like to take your child’s picture in their costume, please do it before or after the show.
  • Costumes will not be ordered unless deposits are paid prior to Winter Break.
  • Costumes are not custom made to fit each individual perfectly. Some alterations might be needed.
  • If you have paid a costume deposit and your child should leave the studio before costumes are ordered, we will not order that costume. Please remember costume fee are non-refundable.
  • If you have paid a costume deposit and your child should leave the studio after costumes are ordered, you will be responsible to pay the balance of that costume. If it is ordered, it belongs to you whether your child is in the Recital or not! Costumes orders can not be returned or cancelled!
